Three things every other kids' video app is structurally unable to do.
Every video comes from a creator a parent explicitly approved. No algorithm decides "what's next." The queue only ranks kid-safe channels — science, art, nature, storytime — using likes and parent-pinned videos, not viral engagement metrics. "Up Next" doesn't exist. YouTube's recommended-feed algorithm never loads.
The queue is scored server-side by a single rule: parent-pinned videos first, then kid's favourites, then recent likes, then creator affinity from watch history. No autoplay. No shorts. No end-screen cards. No recommended sidebar. Every video the kid sees was either pinned by you or came from your verified-creator list. The algorithm boosts good content, not addictive content.
Bedtime and daily-minute budget are enforced on our server — clearing cookies, advancing the clock, or factory-resetting the device won't reset them.
